ESC - website JOB DESCRIPTION - Interim Part-Time Communication Coordinator for Warrensville Heights City Schools PURPOSE:
To provide communications support to Warrensville Heights City Schools in the role of part-time communications coordinator while full-time coordinator is on maternity leave.
TIME PERIOD:
Estimated May 15, 2023 - August 15, 2023 A week in April TBD for training with the full-time coordinator DUTIES:
Assist with communications for internal stakeholders (Board, scholars, families, and employees) via email/digital channels, all-call system, and letters.
Create newsletters and resources for the community based on District objectives.
Respond to media inquiries and gain coverage for new building openings and events.
Assist with emergency communications using existing tools for the district.
Attend and plan major district events.
Social media and website content creation.
Attend board meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or related field.
Five (5) or more years of related experience including writing, event planning, media relations, project management responsibilities.
Knowledge of Ohio K-12 educational programs, services, legislative requirements, policies and current issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation skills Knowledge of urban educational challenges.
Interpret, apply, and explain rules regulations and procedures Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others APPLICATION PROCESS:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
