Princeton Tool, a Princeton Precision Group company is currently seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist-Programmer to support our turbo machinery team.
The CNC Lathe Machinist-Programmer will operate and program Okuma lathe equipment utilizing Mastercam software to machine metal parts within tight tolerance specifications.
Set up precision machinery Operate machinery to produce tight tolerance metal parts to specifications Read blueprints to determine proper dimensions and tolerance levels Input product design into programming software Adjust machine settings to desired product specs Test accuracy of settings and programs Troubleshoot machinery as necessary Assist with programming and setting up new machinery Program shop floor machinery Advise and assist with new process development Work with other machinists to overcome challenges on the shop floor; including but not limited to:
adjusting machine settings to achieve desired results, review blue prints or models to confirm desired results, etc.
Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) 3-5 years of precision machining experience Ability to produce tight tolerance metal parts Experience machining exotic metals such as Titanium, Inconel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel 2-4 years of experience programming Okuma lathe or similar equipment Ability to utilize programming software; Mastercam or like software Software specific training available as needed Ability to troubleshoot machining / program issues Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team and results-driven environment PI226597737 Recommended Skills Aluminum Interpersonal Skills Machinery Metalworking Problem Solving Process Development Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
