Our customers include the major commercial and military aircraft engine manufacturers around the world. The Valley View Vespel site in Ohio is seeking anexperienced ManufacturingTechnology Engineer with automation and ladder logic programming background. This position provides process and materials technology, and equipment engineering expertise to a manufacturing operations site that serves aerospace industry customers.  This role improves production performance for existing operations and assists the New Product Development Team with alternative solutions for low cost manufacturing.  In addition, team leadership and efficient problem solving techniques shall be provided to correct process instability, quality deficiencies, yield losses, and drops in productivity.  This position develops and justifies new technology process instrumentation and control strategies, and improves process safety. The successful candidate for this role develops and documents new methods and assists with the training of personnel.  The person in this role also assists with interpretation of complex aerospace customer specifications, and applies Six Sigma technologies, design of experiments, and statistical process control for efficiently evaluating performance and optimum conditions of systems and operations.   Valley View is one of five global DuPont sites that manufacture Vespel parts and shapes. This site is located in Valley View, near Interstate 77, Interstate 480, and the Ohio Turnpike, south of Cleveland in Ohio. The facility employs about 135 people.   The job scope includes, but is not limited to:    Design, develop, integrate and program of custom automation including robotic integration. Use of Six Sigma methodology to evaluate process capability and product property data to identify and drive yield, productivity, quality and uptime improvements. Monitoring product and process performance to define and implement standard work and on-aim statistical process control. Specifying, documenting and maintaining technology parameters to ensure the process delivers product at the level of the quality required by the final customer. Providing technical leadership to capital project teams to implement capacity, quality, yield, or uptime improvements, as required at plant operations. Evaluate current technology, and equipment, identifying opportunities to upgrade, and renew. Working with New Product Development Engineers to scale-up new product/process developments in local and/or contract Manufacturing Operations (this may include assistance during manufacture, product testing, evaluation of new/current facility capabilities) including developing new technologies and standard work processes.  Provide technical leadership to identify and define cost effective and quality capable processes. Working with Quality Engineers to ensure Quality Systems and Best Practices are documented appropriately.    Job Qualifications Qualifications  Bachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Due to export control regulations, applicants must be a United States citizen or permanent resident 5 years or more demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively in a large part manufacturing environment Successfully implemented PLC and Robotic automation. Experience in evaluations of value stream maps of manufacturing processes replacing manual steps with automatic equipment. Expert on latest automation and robotic technology, and integration with CNC mills and lathes. Experience with Aerospace industry, Aerospace quality requirements, and PSM is a plus. Experience in maintaining, specifying and developing process control applications. Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of fostering a respectful work environment. High level of self-motivation, work ethic, initiative, and flexibility.  Demonstrated capability to resolve issues using fact-based problem solving and methodology's. Strong troubleshooting skills, and ability to provide hands on support to manufacturing personnel. Demonstrated ability to understand manufacturing processes and best practices required to support operations. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to self-manage and network with other area/site/corporate resources. Actively seeks ways of improving current methods, systems, and processes to provide customer satisfaction. Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Products.  Proficiency to read mechanical design prints and understands geometric tolerances. Ability to develop and change electrical wiring diagrams IS REQUIRED. Experience with CAD software IS REQUIRED, solidworks experience is preferred. Expert Experience with Rockwell Automation's RSlogix IS REQUIRED. Experience with machining wiring standards NFPA 79 IS REQUIRED, certified electrician is a plus. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
